The primary interest was in gauging the effectiveness of online teaching, the difficulties faced by students, and the solutions implemented by educators for a smooth transition.

Next, setting priorities is crucial for efficient time management. Observationally, students who prioritize their tasks based on urgency and importance tend to have less stress and better academic achievement. The Eisenhower Matrix, a time-management tool that categorizes tasks into quadrants based on their urgency and importance, has proven useful. By sorting tasks using this method, students can focus their energies on essential assignments without becoming overwhelmed by less important tasks.

Not only was academic performance enhanced, but the learning atmosphere also underwent a positive shift. Students showed increased motivation and actively participated in classroom activities. With the burden of procrastination reduced, students had more time to engage in enriching activities and fully immerse in their personalized learning journeys.

Another important innovation is the 'Interleaving Technique.' Unlike the blocked practice strategy where kids focus on one concept until mastering it, with interleaving technique, learners are encouraged to mix different topics or subjects during their study time. This approach helps the students to distinguish between concepts, apply the correct strategies, and enhance their critical thinking capacity. Notably, a 2010 study showed that students practicing math with interleaved technique outperformed those practicing traditionally by a massive 43%.

First and foremost, the essence of successful time management is organization and planning. From experience, students who regularly utilize a daily planner or a digital calendar tend to perform better academically. These planning tools help students visualize their schedules, track their assignments and appointments, break down complex tasks into manageable bites, and allocate appropriate time for each activity. Importantly, they ensure that no task is overlooked and that work is evenly distributed, reducing the chances of last-minute study sessions and rushed assignments.

Homework assignments were released more frequently but with smaller word counts, aiming to maintain consistency without overwhelming the students. Classroom discussions were shifted to chat-based forums, where students posted their written pieces and provided constructive criticisms for each other. This peer-review strategy proved instrumental in engagement and learning.

One of the paramount advances in this trend is the concept of 'Spaced Learning.' Essentially, children are encouraged to learn in chunks and intervals rather than marathon study sessions. A study by the University of California showed that students who used spaced learning - studying over a period of time - had a 10% better result than those who crammed in one session. This method facilitates better absorption and encodes information into the child's memory more effectively.
