After its implementation, teachers observed significant changes in student performance. They found that children carried out assignments more willingly at their own pace and convenience and displayed enhanced creativity and comprehension skills. The individualized learning environment and immediate feedback seemed to contribute to increased motivation and self-confidence among the students. Teachers were able to track student progress effectively and tailor instruction based on individual learning trajectories. Parental involvement was also remarkably heightened, leading to a valuable home-school collaboration.

Inclusive education forms the backbone of the Kids on the Yard + homeschooling reading curriculum. It takes intentional steps to incorporate culturally diverse literature and materials, promote comprehensive literacy development, and nurture positive attitudes towards learning.

The Green Tree School District is a public school system residing in rural Kentucky, consisting of two elementary schools, one middle school, and a high school. For years, the district grappled with lower-than-average student performances and a substantial achievement gap. Upon investigation, it became evident that a lack of parental engagement was one of the substantial contributing factors to these problems. With limited resources and a poorly informed parent community, the district administrators realized they needed to spearhead an educational initiative that would enlighten parents about their crucial role in their child's education and provide them with necessary resources to fulfill that role.

In the hustle and bustle of today’s fast-paced and tech-centered world, the importance of possessing strong reading fluency is often overlooked. However, multiple studies demonstrate that reading fluency, the ability to read with speed, accuracy, and proper expression, plays a pivotal role in enhancing comprehensive understanding.

In conclusion, the case of Eastfield Primary School illustrates the potential efficacy and challenges of online learning for primary education. While the online learning approach may not entirely replicate classroom instruction, its benefits such as accessibility, individualized learning paths, and engaging resources foster an effective learning environment. With continuous tweaking and reassessment, online learning could indeed become a strong supplemental tool within primary education, specifically in teaching reading.

In conclusion, the case study manifests the importance of effective study habits in improving not just academic performance, but overall holistic development of children. The shift from rote learning to active and personalised learning strategies had a profoundly positive impact on the learners. Such progressive study habits lay strong foundations for a fruitful academic journey, thus warranting their integration in the early years of learning. It exemplifies the truism that it is not always about what children learn, but how they learn that impacts their education.

For the purpose of our study, we focused on three primary schools in New York City, with a participant pool of 150 students, aged 9-12 years, their teachers, and parents. The objective was to understand their existing study patterns, identify areas of improvement, and incorporate effective study strategies.

Guided reading instruction is another effective approach. Here students read along with their instructor, who models excellent reading habits like pacing, emphasis, and modulation. Guided reading can drastically uplift children’s reading fluency by reducing reading errors, hesitations, and mispronunciations that hamper comprehension.

1. Mindful Breathing: This is a powerful and relaxing exercise that helps children develop their attention skills over time. Kids sit quietly, close their eyes, and concentrate on their breathing for a few minutes. This exercise not only improves focus and attention, but also helps kids manage stress and anxiety.

The program centers around the concept of 'active learning', encouraging students to take ownership of their education. It offers an immersive experience that nurtures in children, a lifelong love for reading and comprehension. It covers every aspect related to language, reading, comprehension, vocabulary, phonics, and fluency.

Over the past few years, online learning has become increasingly popular due to its flexibility and accessibility. This case study focuses on a unique scenario where online learning has been utilized effectively for teaching primary school reading.

The program's assessment tools provide regular check-ins for student progress, enabling parents to re-structure the curriculum as needed. The multi-age approach accommodates for families homeschooling multiple children, allowing for flexibility, shared learning experiences, and personalized instruction tailored to each child’s individual progress.

The resources were disseminated during parent-teacher meetings, school newsletters, district websites, and even door-to-door visits in areas with fewer internet facilities. Additionally, the district started organizing quarterly parental support meetings and workshops, where parents could learn about child development, best home practices to support education, and how to use the provided resources. These events often featured guest speakers, such as child psychologists, education consultants, and experienced teachers.
